If the Greatest Hope to Society is Individual Character, Can Society Count on You?

We have become a society, globally as well as locally, that is

  • robust in opinions and bankrupt in debate
  • robust in self-assertion and bankrupt in listening,
  • robust in seeking out like minded and bankrupt on developing true character…

We have chosen to

  • seek voices that agree with our feelings instead of voices that challenges us to think
  • seek heroes that make us laugh at the weaknesses of others instead of heroes that make us look at character
  • seek counsel from the limits knowledge while avoiding any sense and insight of wisdom that surpasses all knowledge

What is most important today, and all the more so since WWII, is the restoration of individual character, first and foremost.

And we must do so with a sense of urgency that sends a message to those not willing to do participate that they are the problem and their lack of interest in the restoration of character is not acceptable, without exception.

This does not mean lowering the bar on tolerance to demand such from those around us, it does mean raising the bar on tolerance to command the respect for our own willingness to restore character.

Daily, we all should be taking the time to step aside from everything and reflect not on everything that is happening to America but on what you can do for America through our restoration of character.
